Taking Heart On Valentines Day

“Another Valentines Day and this year I couldn’t even open my door……….because I’d forgotten my key!!”

“There were many girls banging on my door this Valentines Day morning……….and so then I let them out!!”

Thats my quota of cr*ppy Valentines jokes done and dusted for this year and no doubt they will re-appear next year too! Valentines Day back home is about sending cards, flowers, chocolates etc to your other half or someone you secretly (or not so secretly) fancy. Japan, as always, tends to be different and is a day when women give chocolates to most of the men they know and that favour is then returned a month later on the joke that is known as ‘White Day’.
