Going Home For Christmas

The title says it all really but i will return to England this Christmas having been away for over two and a half years now. Looking forward to it very much too though I think I may suffer a bit from reverse culture shock as I did when I arrived in Australia in August after spending so long in Asian countries.

I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas but it will be nice to have a ‘normal’ Christmas this year rather than having the build up and nothing at the end of it like in Japan where the big day is just a normal working day for the locals.

Christmas has been fairly non-existant for me the last couple of years as i was in Vietnam last year and with my mate Teru in Fukuoka the year before that. I have dug up a few Christmas-y photos from the last two years which certainly weren’t typical of what I’m used to during the festive period.

Incredibly (for me) Christmas has been on the brain quite a bit lately what with parties coming up, making a Christmas compilation for work and making preparations to go home.
