I am from the Netherlands, I got some additional information that might be handy to have.
In the Netherlands you NEVER see a woman play this machine, it’s always a man and often uses also 1 hand only to crank it. This while having a small copper thing in his other hand that is used to collect donations and also to rattle it on the music to add something to the performance.
Also it should be on a carriage so it can be taken around town so more people can listen to the music. You will see the same organ player in multiple places during that day. They usually come out when there is a market.
