TF Guide To Toy Hunting In Tokyo

Ever since my three year old nephew discovered last year that I have a cupboard full of boxes containing Star Wars toys (and a few other things), he has wanted to come round a bit more often to play with them. He has no idea who anyone other than Darth Vader is but that doesn’t stop him emptying out bag after bag of what are mostly 3.75 inch figures!

For better or worse, my collection has barely grown at all in the years since I started living with my wife, and the majority of it is confined to boxes in cupboards so it is quite nice to see them used and enjoyed whenever he’s at our house. I may be out of the collection business but that certainly doesn’t stop me from browsing and so here is a compilation of the best places in Tokyo (which I’m aware of!) that I like to look round for western toys. They are listed in no particular order other than by the area where they are located and there is admittedly a heavy Star Wars bias towards which shops I have included in this list.

Very nice post you posted here and is very informative. Playing with toys can be an enjoyable means of training young children for life in society.
