TF Top 20……Tokyo Fox Hits Of 2017

So 2018 has only just begun and already Tokyo Fox is looking back!! For about eight years now there have been exactly ten new posts on here each and every month and these are the twenty from 2017 which got the most hits…excluding sponsored or TF Top 10 list posts! Of course those entries from earlier in the year had more time to accumulate hits but for the first time the number of posts is actually quite balanced with entries from most months of the year.

1. On The Fox Trail……At Motonosumi Inari Shrine (Yamaguchi)  – Something of a phenomenon on the Tokyo Fox Facebook page as it reached over 11,000 people and was shared more than 80 times which, trust me, is amazing by usual standards. More details here

2. On The Trail Of John Rain Part XI: Tokyo – Thanks again to promotion on Twitter and Facebook by author Barry Eisler, this post covering the Tokyo locales from latest novel ‘Zero Sum‘ raked in the hits. More details here

3. Tokyo Filming Locations #16: Your Name (2016) – There are plenty of other locations posts on the internet for this anime. I should know as I used them to help compile this post! I went into more detail though and included some locales not included in those other posts. More details here

4. Simply The Breast Temple In Japan -The female body form is one that understandably attracts great attention and many are prepared to go to great lengths to just see a pair of boobies! The many clicks on this post was reward for this epic journey to see some mammaries! More details here

5. Star Wars: The Last Jedi Art Show Tokyo – A surprise to see this one included as it was quite recent and I really can’t recall seeing too much fuss made over it when I promoted it on social media. Or maybe it was because of the non-Star Wars content tagged on the end! More details here

6. The Wolverine Filming Locations – Having been to all the Wolverine locales on separate trips over the last few years, this was basically a fairly lazy compilation post designed to ride on the back of the promotion for ‘Logan‘ (2017) and I guess it worked to an extent given it’s place in this list! More details here

7. Maboroshi Museum – What is it about this area and weird museums?!! The slightly more quirky posts always do well stats-wise and not too much about this area has been covered by bloggers. I like to think I’ve helped change that a bit! More details here

8. Science Fiction Bar In Tokyo – I was a bit miffed that news of this bar had somehow alluded me for so long and I guess it wasn’t just me as this received many hits in the wake of me publishing the story of my visit. More details here

9. Hiroshima 2016-17 Pt II: Away Days – The inclusion of this was the biggest surprise to me and I even had to re-read it myself as I couldn’t for the life of me remember what exactly was included in this post! More details here

10. Music Videos Filmed In Japan #7 will.i.am Ft Justin Bieber – ‘#thatPOWER’ (2013) – They’re quite rare but these music video locales posts always rate well when published and this one was no different. More details here

11. Nagoya Filming Locations – Mr Baseball (1992) More details here

12. On The Fox Trail……At The TFGOC More details here

13. Detective Conan Filming Locations More details here

14. Mara-kannon Temple (a.k.a. Penis Temple!) More details here

15. Tokyo Daytripper: Johnson Town – A Taste Of America In Saitama More details here

16. The Lowdown On Tokyo’s Most Restrictive Tunnel More details here

17. This Lawson Convenience Store Is Different To Their Usual Ones More details here

18. Dining Out: School Dinner Time More details here

19. Dining Out: 10 Yen Sushi In Tokyo! More details here

20. Ayashii Shonen Shojo Museum (Mysterious Boys And Girls Museum) More details here
